I thought Gus was suppose to be a Defensive guru?

This team finished 26th in points per game allowed and 26th in yards given up.

  Dante Fowler Jr.

Fowler Jr. is a monster and would be a great fit for the Jaguars. He could have easily mailed it in against ECU and preserve himself but the man played hard and was in the back field all day long to the tune of 3 sacks and multiple pressure in his curtain call. In a trade back scenario, I'd love to have this guy. I've talked about Fowler Jr. before because all he does is impress me. I think he'll shoot up the boards before its all said and done and he's already projected top-15

Report: NFL VP of Officiating seen on Jerry Jones' party bus

The NFL has always gone to great lengths to make sure that the public perception of its officials is above reproach. Yes, we may bray at the ways in which some referees bungle calls on Sundays (hello, Jeff Triplette), but as a general rule, the league has managed to avoid any obvious issues regarding corruption and bias in this regard.

Owner of St. Louis Rams plans to build NFL stadium in L.A.
Posted by: Bon Jagley - 01-05-2015, 07:07 AM - Replies (174)

Yet another stadium planned for the L.A. area, this time in Inglewood. Seeing as this is coming from an existing NFL owner and one able to terminate his lease, we are probably as close as we have been in the last 20 years to getting a team in Los Angeles.

  If we trade back...

I would love for us to pick up safety Landon Collins or a cornerback depending on how far back we can trade. Secondary is a huge liability. Why does everyone want to draft another pass rusher? Our D-line is our biggest strength.

How safe should Marvin Lewis be?
Posted by: knarnn - 01-04-2015, 06:58 PM - Replies (11)

He's 100-95-1 over a 12 year career and 0-6 during the postseason. Now in most cases that would be enough to get a mediocre coach fired but considering where the Bengals were, and where they are now should make the owner pause. Going back a few decades the past coaches were Dick LeBeau, who went 12-33. Bruce Coslet was 21-39. Dave Shula went 19-52. So a case could be made that Lewis deserves even more time since he has brought the Bengals from irrelevancy. (And as fans of the Jags we can relate to that over the past 5 years or so) But then again Marty Schottenheimer was fired after a 14-2 season and multiple playoff fails.

Dalton vs. Gabbert. Im glad we got Gabbert.
Posted by: BassX97 - 01-04-2015, 06:51 PM - Replies (43)

Watching that game earlier really made me appreciate B. gabbert. At least he was so bad that it was a no brainer to can him (Masterful trade by Caldwell). With this Dalton guy, You got someone who can get you to the playoffs but never win in it. The very definition of QB purgatory which I think might be overall 10 times worse than drafting a complete bust.

Jags moved on in 3 years. The bengals might have to lose yet another playoff game before they realize Dalton can't bring them to the promise land.

Peyton Manning VS Andrew Luck ---EPIC!

The Colts sent Manning packing to bring in Andrew Luck.

Whose bags will be packed after this match up?

It would suck for Andrew Luck and Colts fans if the Broncos end up winning based on how they sent the Sherrif out of town.

I got my money on the Sheriff.

Broncos 38

Colts 35

  I'm jealous

Playoff football. I imagine the feelings in the playoff cities. Euphoria, party planning, tailgates, full sports bars.

Memories of Jag playoff games filter in. The Denver game. The home game vs Miami.

They seem surreal and long ago.

As I watch these playoff games, I reminisce ... Then the envy sets in.

Hopefully, this envy disappears soon, and I can focus on Jag game day in January.

Any remember what you were doing during these days? The Denver game? The Jagwads stunned the world?
