Quote:The team that went to OT against Seattle is "tanking on purpose" but the team that got blown out is "trying to win". Can you explain the Bucs record this year?

Quote:They aren't good? Better than the Jags at every single position group but still share the same record.

Quote:Do you think the Buccaneers record reflects their talent level? Yeah. If they were more talented they'd win more.
Sure the Bucs share our same record, but they are clearly the more talented team. I'd be as shocked if they didn't win a game as I would be if we did win one.
I see no way the Bucs lose to the Rams in week 16 unless they sit half the starters.
People also seem to keep forgetting that the Bucs are only 1 opponent loss worse than us in the Strength of Schedule battle. If the Saints keep winning and the chiefs/Texans lose some more games than we can beat them in the tie breaker.

TMD isn't a troll. He's just very vocal about his opinions. Sometimes he's right, and sometimes he's wrong. He tends to overreact a bit (I know I'm guilty of that too).
I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

Hard to believe, I really think there will be two 0-16 teams this season. There's always a first time for everything.

Quote:Can you explain the Bucs record this year? Um, yes? They're talented, but they're very poorly coached and have had their fair share of bad fortune. The Bucs have been in several games this year and have barely come up short, but nine is still a very small sample-size. These things generally normalize over time; the Falcons have been notoriously lucky over the last several seasons in tight games but are seeing that turn on its head this year. There is no way you can seriously believe that Tampa's players are trying to lose games on purpose. Job security doesn't exist in the NFL for the vast majority of the roster. Boy remember when KC tanked last year for Eric Fisher?
I mean, that was obvious because they had 5 pro-bowlers and went 2-14, right?
Quote:Better than the Jags at every single position group but still share the same record. With Blackmon playing, I do not agree with the above. Blackmon/ Shorts/ Brown/ Burton >> Jackson/ M Williams/ Kid -N- Play |
