When we first signed Foles many on this board commented that Foles was an average quarterback and in no way was he a franchise QB. They commented that if Foles can manage the game we had a chance to make the playoffs. At the time I thought it was degrading and misrepresentation of a very good quarterback that we were very fortunate to sign. We now see he is much more than just a quarterback, he is a leader of men and exactly what this team needs. I believe he is a franchise quarterback and a steal at the present contract. I also believe our wide receivers at much better than the media has claimed was a big question mark going into the season. Blake did not have the accuracy to place passes where only the receiver could catch, and often passed slightly behind the slot receiver that prevents additional yardage on the pass. Why does Tom Brady have success with many receivers not considered elite, because of the ball placement of the pass. Nick also has the accuracy to place passes that make life easier for the wide receivers.
So I am very excited about having Nick on the team and I believe he will be the first quarterback since Mark to take this team to a level of play we so dearly missed.
