I don't understand why people even create mocks before the the NFL announces all juniors who have declared for the draft. That will not happen until January 22. Analysts should wait until they know who will leave college early.

The big end position to me is about as sexy as a nose tackle. We need players who can get to the QB. I'm not saying we can't upgrade Odrick, but this would be a poor choice IMO.

Exactly if we upgrade on Odrick it should be with a player like Muhammad Wilkerson, not Buckner who most will call a bust, since he wont have more the 5 sacks in a season most of his years in the NFL, you dont draft run stuffers in the top 10, see Tyson Alualu.

I was surprised Daniel Jeremiah mocked DeForrest Buckner as a top 5 pick. It is more important to get a pass rusher than a run stuffer in the first round.

FWIW Bucky Brooks mocked Shaq Lawson to the Buccaneers at #9 and Deforest Buckner to the Giants at #10. That looks more accurate than Daniel Jeremiah's mock that has us picking Buckner.

We are looking at his first mock. Obviously it will change many times before the end of April. I take all mock drafts before the combine with a grain of salt.

I honestly don't see it.  I'm not big on his speed.  To me he comes off like he'd do okay as a 5-tech possibly since he's strong and has busy hands, but I don't see the explosion you'd want from a pass rusher.  I'd much rather have Ramsey or Jack
