Quote:Why would the Tebow crowd push for Manziel? Is there any similarity between the two that I don't know of?
Because of the heisman, excitement, all he does is win, rah rah personality, unconventional, just finds a way, etc.

They aren't comps as far as skill sets, but the 'intangibles and the will to win' and crap like that that people loved and couldn't get past when it came to an honest Tebow evaluation are now the same for Manziel.

And alot of them actually think playing in the SEC should be a factor. Some of them have radio shows in town.

I'm pretty sure that Tebow has a cult following because of his religious affiliation and the fact that he's actually a genuine good person off the field. The conservative Tebow crowd actually hates guys like Manziel i.e. the drunks and party animals.

I'm starting to get a little too excited for this. Tampa Bay fell to 5. There is a very small window at the bottom.

Bridgewater is going to be a Jaguar. It's just a formality at this point.

You don't have to be a right-wing religious nut to be a Tebow fan, although that obviously helps. A ton of the casual "All he does is win!" crowd was behind him all the way, and they'll do the same with Manziel. He's a larger-than-life figure.

Very solid overall game. He was victimized by A LOT of drops, but he threw maybe 2 or 3 bad passes in 30 attempts. His pocket presence and movement is really outstanding and his throws have really tightened up as the season has progressed, proving that he has the zip to handle cold weather games, yet at the same time he can put touch on the throws that he needs to.

I agree but that game was two weeks ago.

The Houston game he was solid other than the absolutely abysmal play calling that took place. 37 rushes to 29 passes when you have Teddy, Copeland, Parker, and Rodgers.

With Blackmon's questionable status, will we be drafting any Louisville receivers in the middle rds?

Parker will likely be a steal for whatever team picks him just because of his skillset and high ceiling. I wouldn't mind him in the 3rd or 4th depending on who's left on the board at the top of the 3rd for other positions we need.

In Bradley pregame speech next week, he's going to say "gentlemen, today you will decide if you want to play with Teddy or against Teddy".

I was watching that game.  Yelled a couple of times at the TV about the stupid play calling.  That was bad.

The Tinhorns almost beat the stout Raiders. No way they are losing to us.
