What's the deal with this guy? I don't see him mentioned a lot and I haven't done too much draft stuff yet, but all I know is that this dude is a missile for a FS! Exactly the type of FS this team needs. Anyone have the scoop on him? I'm interested in just watching a little but of film..

Karl is a friend of mine's brother. I think the main thing right now is he is projected all over the place. But he loves playing and he's got a high motor, I always say that having a dude like that on the team is never a bad thing.

Probably have a better idea after the combine.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

I was wondering the same thing two weeks ago. But then I read that he got hurt in game 4 which ended his season. He already had 20 tackles, 1 sack and 5 ints at this point.

Big fan of his, he could handle the center fielder role for us. His stock seems lower than it should be due to the knee injury he suffered this year. He had 5 picks in 4 games and as mentioned is a missile from the safety spot. He is definitely someone to keep an eye on during Day 2/3.

As a WVU fan, I love KJ but he's a SS not a FS. Even though he played FS his first two seasons, it's when he slid over to SS when he really started to shine

Either way I'd absolutely love to draft KJ. Instant upgrade over Cyp

Interesting. I totally pictured him as a FS, especially in our scheme. He would probably interchange between the positions like they were going to do with James Sample.

Anyway, I hope we give him a good look. That speed and physicality is serious.

Wouldn't pick him before the 3rd.

I don't doubt he could play the FS again, but SS is we're he excels at. Cats a stud and I'd love to have him replace Cyp

I'd pick Cash and Kearse before I'd pick him.

Cash is good, but Kearse is too tall and KJ is better a lot better than him

Yeah the height is an issue but I would still take him before KJ.

KJ is one of my favourite players in the draft but I would worry about how he matches up with tight ends at the next level.

How do you think he would cope as a FS in our scheme? I've seen he is a monster hitter and had 5 picks in only a handful of games. I figured he could handle center field but I have seen a lot of people saying he would be better as a SS. How are his coverage skills? Is he strictly a Matt Elam/DJ Swearinger type or do you think he could convert from SS to FS like Earl Thomas?

Would love to have a Bosa/Joseph draft on top of a Vernon/Trumaine/Mack FA class.

Joseph played up in the box a lot of the time. No way is he a FS at the next level. He will be a thumper at SS.

Was watching his tape on draftbreakdown.  Dude dominated the Georgia Southern game.  Looks like a Bob Sanders clone.  I liked Cash but dont seem the Jags staff was too high on him but I sure hope we can some how get this guy to replace Cyp.  I think the guy would start day 1 and be a huge upgrade.

Have people actually been saying his stock dropped because of the knee injury or are you guessing that?

Only if free safety is the right position for him.
