I'm looking forward to some "tractor time" as well as cutting and splitting a bunch of wood. We have a bunch of Oak and Hickory trees that we cut down and need to cut up into firewood. It's a lot of hard physical work, but doing it in the middle of the woods is relaxing to me. I'm on my own schedule. I might just take some of the time to shoot some guns, build a fire in the evening and sleep in the next morning. No distractions, no email, no people... it's paradise to me. That sounds awesome. I love manual labor like that. It makes you feel alive. I even like the sore muscles the next day because it reminds me that I did something useful. |
