What happened to the Trump/Russia talk?

Could that possibly be because there hasn't been a single piece of actual evidence presented?

Nothing to talk about now that we're teaming with Russia to combat Cyber Hacking.

What's next, teaming with ISIS to combat terrorism?

You really ought to pass on the lame jokes from the far-left fringe. Most advanced countries, including the US, have hackers. And Obama teamed up with Iran. That's only barely less idiotic than teaming up with ISIS.

I personally wouldn't team up with Russia on anti-hacking development, but neither would I team up with the EU.

Logically, the country with the most to gain from a Trump presidency (instead of Hillary) is not Russia, it's Israel. And they have plenty of very skilled IT specialists; skilled enough to make it look like a hack came from Russia.

You're talking about the Obama birther rumors resurrected by Hillary Clinton's campaign cronies in IL back in 2008?

For the record, I've never been a birther believer, and I don't really care where Obama was born. All I care about is where he's NOT living today, although he still travels the globe playing like he's still in the Oval Office.

I mean Trump chasing the Birther issue for 4 years and lying about the information he's obtaining.  Trump is a pathological liar and is getting exactly what he deserves.

Personally, I probably would have voted for any of the GOP candidates (except for Trump) over Clinton.  I voted for GH Bush and GW Bush each 1x so I don't vote via party alignment.  Trump is just a bad dude (and I don't mean that in a good way)

Trump is a liar, which makes him the same as every politician.

But what matters is actions, not words. So far he has done a lot of good things to fix the mess his predecessor made. There is still a lot to be done in that matter, especially in filling agency head positions. At least the country is in better shape than it was this time last year.

Looks like this thing just blew up, big time.   Don Jr just released an email chain and a statement saying he went to the meeting for the purpose of getting opposition research on Hillary Clinton FROM THE RUSSIAN GOVERNMENT!

Email to Don Jr:

"The Crown prosecutor of Russia met with his father Aras this morning and in their meeting offered to provide the Trump campaign with some official documents and information that would incriminate Hillary and her dealings with Russia and would be very useful to your father,"

"This is obviously very high level and sensitive information but is part of Russia and its government's support for Mr. Trump -- helped along by Aras and Emin."

Don Jr's reply:

"Seems we have some time and if it's what you say I love it especially later in the summer."

Nothingburger?   Seriously?  Trump Jr gets an email that says he needs to meet with this woman because she is part of the Russian government's effort to help his father win the election, and he goes to the meeting, and that's a nothingburger?

It's in his statement. No mainstream media involved here. This is directly from Trump Jr. The guy just confessed to everything they've been denying for months.

Yup, nothingburger. No collusion, no crime. It's just another angle for the left to leverage for headlines.

Did you bother to read the article that you linked?  For starters, there is no such thing as "The Crown prosecutor of Russia".  Second of all Natalia Veselnitskaya is not a "Russian Government attorney".  Finally, remember that the email exchange was between Trump Jr. and a former British tabloid journalist.

There is really nothing of substance there at all.

So, what are the absolute undisputed unfiltered-through-the-left-wing-media facts that we know right now?

1)  All of the US intelligence agencies who have looked into it have testified in open session on Capitol Hill that the Russians were actively trying to influence our election.   That's an undisputed fact: that our intelligence agencies believe this very strongly.  Even Donald Trump has said as much.   There is no one left on the planet who denies that the Russians were trying to influence our election, except the Russians themselves.

2) We know that in June of 2016, the top officials of the Trump campaign- Trump Jr, Manafort, and Kushner, met with a person who had been described to Trump Jr as an agent of the Russian government, who supposedly had dirt on Hillary Clinton, and he, Trump Jr, was told beforehand that this was part of the Russian government's attempts to get his father elected.

So now we have two parties that wanted to collude with each other.   The Russians wanted to collude, the Trump campaign wanted to collude.

So your spin is that they never actually consummated the relationship.  Oooookay.

This is from FOX NEWS:

Trump Jr. Burns GOP Defenders

"For weeks, Republicans have been able to say with increasing conviction that there was not a shred of evidence of any inappropriate contact between the Trump campaign and the Kremlin.
You won’t be hearing that one much anymore.
The best defense on offer now is a claim that it is not illegal, per se, to collude with a hostile foreign power in an American election. That spin is so bad that not even true believers can fully abide it. It may not be illegal, but it is certainly shameful.
Now, like the rest of the country, Republicans in Congress are left to wonder what else is out there – what else is the campaign hiding?"

Except, the person that Trump Jr. met with was not in fact "an agent of the Russian government".  The person that gave the description of said attorney was a former British tabloid "journalist".

Try to spin all you want.  The MSM is certainly doing so as well as some of the democrat politicians, but the fact of the matter is, there is nothing there.  The article that you linked to "reports" facts that are not correct.

Quote:After the revelation that Donald Trump Jr. met with a lawyer tied to Vladimir Putin in hopes to obtaining dirt on Hillary Clinton – as “part of Russia and its government’s support for Mr. Trump”

The part in bold is what the MSM and the left is running with.  There is nothing there.  Nothing.  Zip.  Nada.  Zilch. ничего.
