Well, I understand if you're on the island, and you and your buddies have slaughtered a goat, someone's gotta eat the naughty bits.  Maybe you, or maybe that one kid who eats everything, or maybe feed it to the dog.

Let's suppose you're right about that.
I doubt I will ever be bored enough to determine which officials in Ukraine were corrupt. I would probably have to learn the language before I could form an informed opinion. But sure, I will go with your opinion.
A bunch of different people wanted the guy fired for a bunch of different reasons, but the guy wasn't corrupt.
It's still not credible for the president of that country to say that he only fired the guy for one of those people and no one else.
I mean seriously.
Smell your own stuff before you put it out here like this.
Look up how much aid the US gave to Ukraine over the years.
Then look up how much loans the IMF gave them.
Which of the two organizations do you think is more influential on their behavior?
