I think they might give him a lil time VS 1s in 2nd preseason game...

I don't see why not... 3rd and long, 4 wide or 3 wide cole in the slot, just to see if he can make a play VS big boys...

See whatcha got coach... You already know with AR15 and Lee...
and Hurns, we don't know how much time he'll miss...

He also made a play on kickoff where he up-ended the ball carrier.

I agree with you, Bullseye. Especially think we'll end up carrying three quarterbacks again this season. I could see one of Wynn, Cole, or Greene having a "soft tissue injury" later on during the preseason which lands them on IR though.

Why keep 3 QBs?  Allen hasn't proven that he's all that special.  He's Probably a perennial backup.  We've put all our eggs in one basket with Bortles this season.  We'll probably draft a QB in 1st or 2nd round next year no matter what Bortles does so it doesn't make sense to keep Allen on roster because he's clearly not the future of this franchise.  It's either Bortles or next year's draft pick.  Keep Henne as your back up and dump Allen.  Keeping 3 QBs is frivolous unless Allen is being groomed for the future which I don't think is the case.

Saw this interview with him, I liked this one answer in particular.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

Allen Robinson for Jacksonville Jaguars , because he was underrated coming into the draft but worked hard once he was given the opportunity to play professional football & proved he was a top WR in the NFL . He has great ball skills & he can score at any time rather it is a 2 yard catch for a 70 yard touchdown or a 60 yard deep ball for a touchdown .

I'm going to be watching this guy like Grant. I hope to see him make some noise and get that roster spot.

I totally disagree. Allen has a beautiful deep pass and very well may develop into a starting-caliber qb. Henne is ready to retire, and should.

Another impressive performance by the UDFA outside of one egregious drop. He's a roster lock at this point.

Interestingly enough they had Cole ahead of Westbrook in the depth chart and in play time. Maybe they just wanted a bigger body

What's the point of keeping 7 when your QB can't even throw to 1? But, yeah we're gonna keep Keelan
