CNN Fires Jeffrey Lord

I don't agree with this firing.  Lord is a pretty decent person and there's no way his tweet was meant for anything other than sarcasm directed at (mocking) the person he was communicated with.

I totally agree.   He was obviously being sarcastic.   So the firing was completely unjustified.
