You no longer need to surround the Social link with anything. It's automagical!

Not sure if your deleted post was the test or if it's elsewhere, but you shouldn't be putting it inside a <Code> block. 
Just type out/paste what's in the code block in your post, ideally on a new line.

I seem to have worked it out... but there seems to be the 'code box' on my post still?

I just typed [twitter] and inserted the link, then typed [/twitter] at the end.

Fun fact: This was an awful hack I did at some extremely late hour.

I have a new version of this I am rolling out that will not require the bbcode-style tags.
