I don't get why they'd bring him in for a workout and sign him now, seeing as their season is over.

I guess they were trying to beat the mad rush of teams vying for his services.

Honestly, he's probably got the strongest leg in the league. They probably figured a couple of other teams would value that and didn't want to end up getting into a bidding war with one or two teams.

It's a futures contract. No harm bringing him in for a look-see in the offseason and dumping him if they find someone else.

He can't handle the pressure. Couldn't when he was here, can't there. I don't know what happened in New York last year to make him so good, but he's back to missing kicks he should make.
