THANK YOU DONALD J. TRUMP. MAGA!

Mine went up almost $700 a month offsetting the increase in my health care costs and adding around $200 more to my monthly bottom line.

Mine is along the lines of StrowdCrowd1 and my wife's will be a little higher (unless Trump exempted her from the increase since she grew up in Mexico City) ... lol.

DANG FBT HOW MUCH MONEY DO YOU MAKE OVER THERE AS HEAD CHEF AT THE WAFFLE HOUSE?   Based on your increase, it would appear that you are raking in ~ $250k per year !!!

Well that isn't very democratic, is it?

I personally think everyone should get the same increase no matter how hard they work.

The lefty version of Democratic is you get more increase if you don't work than if you do.

I’m paying about $27k a year for a gold plan. It cost less than half that before ObamaCare came into being.

Based on all of the unemployed people in the rust belt voting for Trump, and complaining about their lost factory jobs, one can conclude the highly paid Dems living in SF-LA-NYC-Boston-DC are actually benefiting the most.

Billy Jo Rustbelt is the big loser in this game.    Looks like the big city Dems won again without even trying.

Still doesn't stop them from crying and trying to paint Trump as the worst thing ever while they quietly take their tax cuts.

They're going to continue to howl and complain because in most instances, these high browed folks live in cities/states that have income taxes that they used to be able to write off on their federal taxes.  They're already suing to get the deduction back because they want the rest of the country to continue subsidizing their state/local taxes...

Interesting that you mentioned that.  I heard even things like Booster contributions (e.g. Bull Gator) were tax deductible so people were complaining that their high priced season tickets (which included a hefty bull gator fee) was no longer tax deductible.  I'm not certain if that is true or to what extent it may be true but that's totally crazy to think tax payers are paying for some dude to sit at the 50 yard line and chum up to the coaches during their wine & dine functions.

oh well, i'm sure the abuse outside of this is 100x worse but this one hit close to home so I just thought i'd cite that as an example.

Not sure its quite as simple as blaming a politician as health costs have ballooned in multiple countries. 27k is insane though.

I pay around 250 usd a month but private health not necessary here just a good jump queue on less important procedures so probably covers much less.

$27k per year is for the Trump Base population that usually opts for the Gold Plan which includes supplemental insurance that pays $250,000 coverage with a $100 deductible if you are shot by an MS-13 Gang Member.

Why wouldn't you opt for a lower cost plan with a bigger deductible?   I have a bronze plan, and even after all the deductibles and everything else, in the worst case scenario, it costs way less than your gold plan.

I have a child with medical needs.  The gold plan offers us the most affordable option to address them.

Jason Day, one of the world's top golfers, brought his mother to the U.S. from Australia last year after Australian doctors had told her to essentially go home and die, with only a year to live after a cancer diagnosis. Following surgery in Ohio, which was so successful that chemotherapy wasn't even required, she's now alive and well. Yep, gotta get some of that government healthcare.

And yet Australians live longer and pay less for healthcare...

There's different quality doctors in all countries. Im sure day being a multi millionaire lends him to access to the best.

Isnt Andrew Luck in europe seeing specialists because he hasn't had luck in USA. Can all pick one case for multimillionaires.

There's no doubt Australians have better health outcomes overall

Trump says it is better too

And yet Australia has a much smaller and less diverse population and the accompanying dynamics which minimize much of the statistical outliers that affects the end numbers.

The clear objective of Jason Day bringing his mother to the U.S. for successful treatment is because the state run healthcare system would rather she die than spend the money to cure someone of her age. But let's continue to make comparisons between relatively simple life-saving surgery (commonly performed on people who aren't wealthy) and Luck's treatment in Europe using a procedure not approved in the U.S. It totally supports your argument.

Luck is getting treatments that aren't FDA approved, that's why he's in Europe.

We pay more for health care here partially because the level of care we pay for is drastically higher than countries with cheap or free health care. You get what you pay for in this case and I will gladly pay for high level health care.

Actually you are mainly just paying more due to administration rather than direct health care.

I wouldn't be making fun of Australian healthcare when it has one of the highest life expectancies in the world.

Plus i thought you all agreed your healthcare was broken?

Yep, too much bureaucracy leads to higher prices. Just like always and forever.
