"David Benioff and D.B. Weiss are going from Winterfell to a galaxy far, far away.

It was announced today that Benioff and Weiss, creators of the smash-hit, Emmy Award-winning television series Game of Thrones, will write and produce a new series of Star Wars films.

These new films will be separate from both the episodic Skywalker saga and the recently-announced trilogy being developed by Rian Johnson, writer-director of Star Wars: The Last Jedi."

If the latest seasons of GOT is any indication I don't think my hopes are very high. Only reason GOT was any good was because they had George R.R. Martin's work to go off of. Soon as they deviated and Martin stopped showing up on set the series took a nose dive into the dirt.

Interesting. They can't be worse than Rian Johnson. That man single handedly screwed TLJ. I don't want him anywhere near a SW movie again but that's not going ng to happen unless he gets hit by a Peterbuilt.

Very true. They've been very sloppily done. Even basic dialogue is awful.

You can love the movie all you want, there's no problems in that. But the movie is objectively bad.

They gotta do something new the spinoffs so far have been way better than this sequel trilogoy
