Maybe I missed it, but what did Hurst do to make him the “best in show”?

He looked good, but not head and shoulders above the others.

Just from highlight review (extremely flawed I admit) Hurst wasn't making many contested catches, he was wide open on most of his catches. Goedert was making majorly contested catches look easy. The Penn State guy looked awesome too, really nimble or his size

The fact that none of us can decide on which 4 are the best probably means we shouldn't take one at 29 because TE normally do not get picked too often in the first 2 rounds

People have Hernandez, Price, Wynn, and Williams ranked in all different orders too. Doesn't mean we shouldn't take any of them at 29 either just means you gotta find the one that fits best.

We know Wynn and Hernandez won't be there for us in Round 2, Price just go hurt, I don't know who Williams is?

Connor Williams who is now being seen as a stud guard prospect for some reason after being a top 10 LT prospect before his fairly minor knee injury.

I also think James Daniels could get to the late day 1 range too.

Did not know that about Williams, thanks for informing! James Daniels is a good one, would love to know how we feel on moving Linder back to Guard but we will probably never know.

Interested to see if that Price injury would drop him to us in the 2nd. I'd be all over that.

Doubt it. They say it's a minor partial tear and he'll be back before preseason, so he won't miss any time. I can't see him getting passed the Bengals or Chargers. Both have big needs at Center. I'm expecting one to take Price and one to take Ragnow.

Yeah, this is what I’ve been thinking too.

Unless one of them separates themselves from the pack, it might be better picking another position in the first round and then seeing which ones are left in round 2.

But we have no idea what Caldwell etc are thinking right now. Maybe they already have a favourite...

Just thought I could paste this here from Mike Kaye:

The #Jaguars had a formal meeting with Stanford TE Dalton Schultz at the NFL Combine, per league source.

Schultz is built like Zach Ertz and actually put up better numbers in Indy.

Dalton Schultz (6’5, 244, 31 3/4 arms, 9 1/4 hands)
Forty: 4.75
Vertical: 32”
Broad: 10’0”
3-Cone: 7.00
20-Yd. Shuttle: 4.40

Zach Ertz (6’5, 249, 31 3/4 arms, 9 3/4 hands)
Forty: 4.76
Vertical: 30.5”
Broad: 9’3”
3-Cone: 7.08
20-Yd. Shuttle: 4.47

Saves bringing him in for a visit, if nothing else.

The reports I’ve seen of him say he’s not a great blocker, that true?

Might be the best blocker in the class.

Where you getting these tight end details from?

NFL.Com now has Mark Andrews project as a 3rd or 4th round pick. Would be a steal if he fell to our 3rd pick

If we end up losing ARob and Colvin, we might have to rethink these wish-lists...

And by the time we get to day three you have to ask if the player we’d be bringing in is any better than the players we already have.

Unless we sign Trey Burton of course.

Ah my mistake this time - I’ll hold my hands up, I was thinking of the Wisconsin guy.

Shultz sounds great if what we want is another blocker.
