Just read that jpp was traded to the bucs for a third rounder and swap fourths.

There is also an article on ESPN.com about Bridgewater and how he "isn't comfortable" discussing the health of his knee right now. I found it interesting that he still might not be ready to suit up.

Unless he looks much different than the last time I saw him play, (he had the frame of a pre-pubescent 15 year old boy), I have no interest. Between his tiny frame, his off the field antics, his lack of focus and his poor play, he's a complete disaster. I hate Tim Tebow and I'd take him over Manziel.

EJ Gaines signed with the Browns
Our friend Ryan Davis released by Buffalo.
Brock Osweiler signed with Dolphins (God have mercy on them)

Joe Berger and Martellus Bennett both retire (Martellus should take his brother with him).

Because Clive Walford was still on his rookie contract as a former 3rd Round pick,  his release doesn't seem to be salary cap related.

They barely used him at all last year in 13 games

A waiver claim for Clive Walford would make sense for practically any team.  Walford's salary cap number for 2018 will be even lower for a team that ends up with him off waivers than it would have been with the Raiders.   The off-season and the summer can be used to determine if Walford warrants a spot on the 53 man roster.  On the surface,  very little downside in claiming him.

I like him.  Has some untapped upside IMO.
Even if he doesn't make it out of camp, may be worth a good look.

TE Ben Watson returning to the Saints on a deal. They are a common team taking Goedert ahead of us in mocks, do we think this would prevent them from taking him or make it less likely they would?

Agreed completely, though I wonder why they would cut him, given the WCO they are going to employ utilizes TEs.

Probably not, given his age.

Who remembers tmd banging his fists on the table in a little bit of a tizzy because the jags didn't get this stud?

See Marcedes Lewis...

Your actions become your habits,
Your habits become your values,
Your values become your destiny.
