Completely agree. The guarantee for injury is a lot more likely with Mariota than Bortles tho. I am surprised media still thinks he is better than Bortles at this point. Its like they didn't watch him play at all last year. I give it one more year before he breaks that narrative for good.

Funny how everybody here slammed Mularkey nonstop, yet when he somehow managed to get himself fired after winning a playoff game by announcing at the post season presser he wanted to keep the staff intact, no one here wants to acknowledge that there were scheme issues and instead want to put all the blame on Mariota. I've seen bortles take hits that would have crumbled mariotas frail body and then the next play bortles keeps it and gets hit again, only to get right back up.

He might have his shortcomings but bortles plays his heart out and has displayed his toughness and durability enough that even a tacks fan should have seen it if they actually watch football.
