PBR is great for recipes requiring beer. Brats, beer batter, that sort of stuff. It lacks the metallic piss water taste of Bud, Miller and Coors, but doesn't taste good enough that you feel bad about cooking with it instead of drinking it.

If somehow you hadn't heard: No, a group of enterprising freshmen frat boys didn't purchase the entire stock to save money. It's way more complicated and frustrating than that.
