Found this funny given the number of teams trying to land the next McVay:

I was listening to Dan Patrick yesterday and someone on his show, I believe Kyle Brandt, mentioned the thought of..."what if the Rams lose this weekend?". Everyone trying to go after the next McVay but that would mean he has lost two home games in the playoffs and never won a playoff game. Obviously still an amazing coach but it would just be ironic if he loses again and everyone is going after that type instead of a Belichick, Peterson, Reid, older type. Just found that comment interesting if it happens.

It is kind of funny that everyone seems to being going off the McVay tree, when it's the Reid coaching tree that seems to be the most successful.  Harbaugh, Nagy, Pederson and Reich all in the playoffs this year, and then you add Rivera, who's been to a SB, and McDermott, who has overachieved with the Bills.

Hackett to the Packers.

Can’t believe he got a job considering how he handcuffed Blake this year....

Did he? It always looked to me more like he just didn't have any talent to use. Didn't Blake have like four TD passes against the pats?

I was kidding.

There are a fair amount of posters who believe coaching is the reason Blake is bad.

Ah. Yes, I never liked the move to fire Hackett. I wouldn't be surprised if the jaguars end up with someone worse for their trouble.

I was never a Marrone hater or anything, but that move should have put him under consideration for firing this off-season. It's one thing to not be able to escape a massive pit of injury problems, but it's another thing entirely to make random foolish moves because you're not even a good enough coach to be able to tell what's causing your team's problems.
