Westry is intriguing. He is a 6'3" CB who ran a 4.35/40 at Kentucky's pro day. He played behind two of the best CB's in the draft though, Lonnie Johnson Jr. and Derrick Baity. Both will get drafted.

Sweat is one of the short list of defensive players I’d be ok with at 7.

That would be great. I'd be fine with him at RG or either OT position as he shows good enough footwork and technique to play LT, if needed. I could see him starting on the right side or perhaps at LT if Robinson is not completely healed by the start of the season. If we intend to play him at RT, I'd love to see a draft like ....

1. Hockenson TE
2. McGary OT
3. Allegretti OG
3. Hooker S
4. Henderson RB

I guess we wont really know until draft night if he falls big time in the draft, but I take it that his heart condition has been cleared and is of zero concern in the league?

I know they cleared him to workout at the combine and that's a great sign, but is there no worries that it could limit/shorten his career in the long run?

Everything I've heard from the talking heads on NFL Network is that it is of minor concern.

I would hope Ed.  I think he will be our number 1 target if available for Campbell's replacement next year and he can come in for Calais this year on 3rd downs to help keep Calais healthy and not worn down at season end

I wonder if we are going to meet with Tytus Howard? He has the size we like in our tackles

Yikes 4.87 shuttle for Howard? That is just begging for trouble no thanks. Also short with short arms. Undersized and terrible agility...can he move to guard? I can't imagine him working at tackle.

Arent you a Cody Ford fan?  Same shuttle and same arm length.  Plus he is 6'5 and 322lbs. in what world is that undersized?  You get so caught up in players combine numbers, sparq, and spyder charts instead of play on the field that sometimes you confuse yourself and dont know what youre talking about

I like Ford at guard, not tackle. Tytus is 30th percentile height with below average wingspan and arm length too. Combine that with the awful movement skills and I don't see a future starter at OT. That's why I asked if maybe he could move inside to guard. I don't know enough about him to say if I think he could or not. Ford I am confident would be a great IOL.

That in itself would be a nice draft at 1,2,3,3. then add DaMarkus Lodge with the 4.
