That’s in a Andy Reid style offense that makes every QB look good (I.E Vick,Alex Smith, feeley, detmer, Kolb) with ertz, Jeffrey, agholer and other weapons and good o line. The only way to keep this defense together is with a qb on a rookie contract. Foles is not the answer.

He has started eight games in the past two years.

Secondly, I am unsure if the Peterson and Reich offense was an Andy Reid WCO.

But even assuming it is, Foles' best statistical season was in Chip Kelly's offense, not a Reid WCO derivative scheme.

But even ignoring that, Defilippo coached Foles' in that scheme.  He will know what Foles' strengths and weaknesses are, what types of things Foles' likes to do, etc.  To me those are not deterrents to a Foles' acquisition.
It was more games than that he played 5 regular season games and 2 playoff games this year and 3 playoff games and I believe 5 regular season games last year. He was bad in the playoffs this year and was bad in the falcons game last year, they should have lost that game had it not been for a fortunate dropped pick into the eagles players hands. If you put foles on our offense this season we are still trash that’s my point. DeFilippo also wasn’t the play caller in philly

FWIW, here is an article that examines the Eagles' offense the last three years, with insight into the dynamic between Pederson, Reich, Defilippo, Foles, and Wentz.

I wouldn't mind Foles but it depends on the market

I live just outside of Philadelphia (and deal with there terrible fans) I listen to philly sports radio to and from work and watch the jags games at an eagles bar. I can tell you that that offense is what has made foles LOOK good in a FEW games he’s played the last 2 years. It’s an Andy Reid offense with slight modifications and it makes the qbs job easy. They scheme a route open if it’s not there check down or toss a 50/50 ball to Alshon. It’s made a bunch of bum qbs look relevant Vick, detmer, kolb, feeley. In that article you posted it even says wentz wasn’t following the offense that what led to his poor season and why foles looked better. Most of foles success was lobs to Jeffrey we don’t have a guy that can bail him out. Don’t be the dumb team that swings big at fools gold at qb and sets the team back 3-4 years. Only way to keep the defense together is a qb on rookie deal that’s our best shot at a sb

As far as next season goes our best chance lies with Blake. Although we know he’s not our franchise guy there is not a better veteran option. If we play the Bortles formula which is score early to keep run game involved and give him PA he’s shown he can play at a very high level even elite level (see patriots and jets game this year) with that formula and doesn’t need 15m a year receivers. Get him lee back who runs his favorite crossing route and is almost unstoppable at it and grant and ASJ and healthy oline. That formula also helps the defense letting us tee off on the Qb and force turnovers
