Hawks QB Russell Wilson - 140 million/4 years.

Russ is for sure smart, as there's no telling what the next CBA will do for revenue sharing, salary cap, or veteran deals. Dude got his cash before anything could undo what structure is currently out there.

They [BLEEP] up. Hawks will not win 8 games this year. Book it.

I think the money is way over the top, but I think they were smart to bring him back on a big deal. Just seems a little "extra."

Anyway, get Wilson some help in that front five and a stud TE and he'll do damage this year IMO.

They need to be smart with picks #21, #84, #124, but they could find two starters with that.

They could maybe get Risner at 21 (who can play 3 OL spots) or Fant or Irv Smith Jr might be there.
They can definitely get a solid starter for TE at 84 and at least solid depth at OL there.

Not sure what their playmaking positions look like these days (WR and RB) but I think 124 is where you get role player guys there, or more depth for OL perhaps.

Risner
TE
RB

^ would be a wise way to use those picks  - though they could grab a safety at 124 and use their fifth rounder on a RB
