Ron DeSantis, both times.  Dan Webster. Marco Rubio.
My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.

No it won't. Republicans do not have the force of the MSM at their backs as well as weaponized government bureaucracies.

Again, FOX News isn't MSM? Because they sure do have Republican's backs, and their majority viewership is well documented.

If they're paid under the table, they avoid income tax and payroll tax, but many of them are paid with fraudulent social security numbers and have their payroll taxes and income taxes withheld just like ours.

you're right that things are changing, but those who came over here illegally to work 10 or 20 years ago are still here for the most part. we have to figure out what the law should do about them, as well as what the law should do about newer arrivals.

This thread is about those who are crossing now, not those who came 20 years ago. Those here 20 years or so can be dealt with later, assuming they don't commit some crime (after the original one of crossing the border illegally) there's no hurry.

Those who are crossing now are mostly coming for government handouts (i.e. money taken by force from workers). The current influx needs to be stopped. Build the wall; step up enforcement; get real about the "asylum" claims, since anyone needing asylum could go to the closest country and wouldn't have to trek across a 1000 miles to a safe haven. Other than Venezuela there are no governments in this hemisphere threatening their citizens.

Because of corruption the governments of the Northern Triangle aren't protecting their citizens. If it was your family wouldn't you do what you could to get them to the safest place possible? Or just be content in a tent just across the border in a country unable to offer you any more security or shelter that the hellhole from which you escaped?

What if some of these immigrants detained by a citizen's militia ran? Would the militiamen be justified in shooting them?

Ended up in a YouTube worm hole and came across the video of Fox slating the pic of Obama in his bike helmet, juxtaposed with a topless picture of Putin.......

That's one out of 20, and not one on free TV. I bet you can also name one mainstream newspaper that leans Right too, one out of hundreds. Big Whup!

"Aren't protecting" is a long way from actively going after citizens, which is what asylum is there for.

Mexico is offering sanctuary. But if that isn't good enough because it doesn't give them comfortable housing, medical care, food, and education, then you've made my point. They are coming here to be taken care of at other people's expense.

Fox news, fox news, fox news.  Give it a rest.  Fox news is 1 source of information and they don't even pretend to not be right leaning any longer.  ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, HBO, NPR ect... Not quite the same now is it.

Fox News against the MSM army, then throw in the Lois Lerners, Peter Strzoks, James Comeys, etc, etc. and you have a real imbalance of power and influence.

Welp, the government got what they wanted:

Leader of U.S. border armed militia group attacked in jail

FTA:

Larry Hopkins, 69, was in hospital with broken ribs after being attacked on Tuesday at the Dona Ana County Detention Center in Las Cruces, in southern New Mexico, attorney Kelly O'Connell said.

Give WHAT a rest? Merely pointing out the FACT that Fox News is MSM is too much?

Oh look! The Republicans have an MSM outlet!

That means about 1/15th of the mainstream media isn't completely biased against them! Woo fricking hoo.

Fox News holds up well against this "army", if we're to believe the giddy excitement SC1 and The Drifter show when the ratings come out.

Bias born from truth. Check the ratings, Fox is quite the force. You guys playing the oppressed victims is quite amusing. You should come back to the couch, we miss you.

Not a surprise at all.  Dona Ana County DC probably houses quite a few illegal aliens including many MS13 gang members.

Now if we could only get an army of corrupt political bureaucrats...

He’s a convicted felon who was in possession of firearms and ammo. The guy put himself in this situation.

True, but if you look at some of the headlines and stories on many news sites you would think that he was arrested for protecting the border.

Do you really believe there is equal slant?  Besides the fact that Fox is right leaning is not even the issue and you know it.  The issue is CBS, ABC, NBC, NPR, CNN and many others pretend to be unbiased.  The folks that watch Fox and MSNBC will never change their mind for the most part.  The battle is for the middle ground and if the middle media is transmitting biased news THAT is what is meant by The MSM.

Who the hell thought that it would be a good idea to put this dude in with the general population at a jail in Las Cruces?
