Where do you rank the Jags defense heading into 2019?

And yet another analyst (well, former player turned TV guy)  picking Jags to be the #1 defense in 2019:

And more fuel to the fire:

It's a New Day, It's a New Time, It's a New Year.

I do feel that our defense will again be Top Five(ish) BUT we're unproven in too many categories. The only positions that we're solid in are DE and CB. The DT positions are good but Taven will have to seriously step it up. The safety positions are tremendously promising but unproven and this leads us to the LB positions. There's no proven player there including Myles Jack. Especially Jack.

If everything comes together and matches up to the paper promises our defense will be stellar this year. We have to put in the work including the front offices w/respect to resigning players and managing the salary cap.

Time Will Tell.

Gonna be hard to replace 100+ tackles with 3 ints and has scored 5 TDs.

This is true but it can be done even if it's collectively.

I agree, guys will just have to step up. Williams will probably end up being better in coverage. I’m ready to see what he can against the best players in the world.

Every tackle we don’t “replace” is a touchdown for the other team, right?

So, I don’t think there is any doubt we will replace those tackles.
