Guess that's a "no" from the message board.  Varying degrees of courtesy, but thanks for the answer.  He was a heralded rookie a few years back, but I guess it didn't happen.

Hope he continues to suck, for our team's sake.

You pay two first for a qb. Period.

Clowney & their draft future out. Allen & ngokue still get to the qb. Sign me up baby.

The true terms of the trade are shown below:

Texans have acquired left tackle Laremy Tunsil and wide receiver Kenny Stills, a 2020 fourth-round pick and a 2021 sixth-round pick from the Dolphins. In exchange, Miami will be getting a huge package of draft picks that will include two first-rounders (2020 and 2021) and a 2021 second-round pick. The Dolphins will also receive special-teamer Johnson Bademosi and tackle Julien Davenport in the deal

The Texans' future is Watson, they made moves to protect their future, did we not just see what happened to Luck and Indy? They overpaid, but the offensive line should be a strength now. Watson was sacked 62 times last season, that can't be allowed to happen anymore.

Didn't they just draft two linemen/tackles this April? That's kinda saying the picks were wasted, and now this deal also limits the ability of the team to build upon whatever foundation is currently in place.

Mind you, I am perfectly fine with all this.

I think they're banking on Mercilus, they can probably sign him for significantly less money, but big question is whether or not he can carry the load without a bigtime rusher on the opposite side.

Mingo instills fear in nobody at this point.

THAT is how  a rebuild is done. And, if they are smart, they steal a chapter from NE and move off a few of those picks for future picks, and keep the cycle of stockpiled picks going.

Texans didn't waste pick on Linemen.  Those 2 are rookies, and they didn't want to put a rookie at LT.  Howard will start at LG and Scharping will backup a RG (he will be starting sometime this season).  U need more than one linemen and u need depth.  Texans' line is MUCH better than it was last season.

Mingo is not the key to deal, Jacob Martin is.  He has to the potential to be a VERY GOOD pass rusher at OLB.  Texans will be fine on Defense.  Mercilus is a very good passrusher (better pure pass rusher than Clowney imho) and he played out of position with Clowney on the field.  Clowney is GREAT against the run....so they will have to adjust to that.

Giving up 2 #1 picks and a 2nd is not that big of deal.  They have a #2 and 3 - #3 picks in the 2020 draft.  In 2021, yes they won't have a #1 or 2......but u can survive 1 draft like that, especially when u have $100 million in cap in 2020.

Welp, they’ve talked themselves into it. I guess we’ve all been there

So had the Dolphins not employed "Operation Fish Tank" and not made Tunsil available, you would have been just fine relying on Matt Kalil to be your LT?  The same LT who retired at the end of the 2018 season?

You were just fine with the Texans spending a first and a second round pick on guards, with one being on the bench?  This is what you are saying?

You are saying you were fine with what you got back from Seattle for Clowney?  Seriously?

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!
