Worked for him.  He was very personable and likable guy.  Won’t go further because I don’t want to say anything bad. I just had to stop working for him.    But oddly enough, my dad had an encounter with him where my dad “threatened” to hunt him down like a dog if he screwed over a family friend.  That was  Before he was a client.  And while he was a client my employee’s father in law was the officer that arrested AND tased him.  Many stories I can tell about that one. Heck, had he known what i knew he may have never hired me, lol

I thought Troy Williamson was gonna show out like the top 10 pick he was when we picked him up after his first preseason. Pretty sure he was the preseason yards leader that year and was making a number of big plays.

Yeah.  But again, overall a real likable and good person.  The situation with my dad was simply because none of that crowd knew he was in fact a football player.  He didn’t do anything wrong.  Just looked shady with what he was asking    I’m not gonna bad mouth the guy.  I can’t really.   I will say, he’s also pretty intelligent as well.    I just had to stop services.

My Ernest Wilford story- I've told it before so you board veterans can ignore it. I went to play golf at So. Hampton several years ago and got into a convo with the starter. He mentioned that a few of the Jag players were regulars there and that EW19 was out on the course ATM.

As I came up to the 1st green, I noticed a cart coming toward me from the tee area. It was Ernest, he had talked with the starter after his round and came out to say hi and thank me for being a ST holder. Get this- he even ripped off part of his scorecard, wrote his cell # on it and told me if I needed anything while I was in town to call him.

That sounds like him.  He was a “local celebrity” around here.  He’d frequently buy rounds at TAPS just down the road from where you’re talking about.   That was during his first stint with Jax.

We were working across the street at his other house and it was cold.  I had on a Poker Stars hoodie on that I won online. He saw that called me over got the job and takes me inside to show me his game room. Had casino quality poker tables in it. Plus a poop ton of football jerseys/helmets.  He “stole”/hid. a stihl backpack blower for me.  I’ve got so many stories on that guy,  and on top of that, I constantly ran into him at places nearby.  Which made me feel like a rockstar the kid at the register is staring at us in awe as he strikes up a convo with me.  But a good guy, unlike Lavernius Coles (sp). He lives nearby. (Have not worked for him)  He’s kind of a DB.  The don’t bug me type and give me what I want person.

Sorry to hijack the thread.  You guys have me reminiscing on somewhat fun times.
