Yannick Ngakoue (threads merged)

I wish they would just release Yan. He isn't a team player. Watch Hard Knocks and you will see what a team player does when he expects to get a new contract.

Nooooooo.  Why throw away an asset like that?  We need more talent on this team.  Releasing him when we could get a draft pick for him is a really dumb idea.

It's not like the Jags are going to be contenders this year so he is useless and they are better off without him.

Assets are useless because we are not going to be contenders?  Just give up, you can't defend that position.

Doesn't matter. You release him he gets his way.

Let him sit for the season, he will do no harm if he doesn't play. If he decides to play and wants to become a cancer it will only hurt his value.

I don't think uthill understands the difference between letting him hold out and releasing him.
As long as we don't release him, we still have to get draft picks (or another player) before he can play for another team.  If we release him we get nothing.
My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.

Told you all for years David Caldwell was the worst GM on the planet. This confirms it.
