I'd be happy going O-Line and wide receiver in the first round.

Same. Been thinking this for awhile now. Especially post combine. I was hoping Okudah or Simmons would slip but they showed out and looked good. Might land Derrick Brown out of Auburn with the 9th pick but if he's not there I wouldn't mind them taking the best receiver there with the 9th pick based on their draft board. Which the value adds up right there IMHO.

And they could look at either Austin Jackson or Josh Jones at tackle. Both of which should be plenty capable of pushing Robinson for LT. And then maybe they can get Robinson to kick Cann out of his spot for solid rotational play when needed.

Definitely NOT an Austin Jackson fan.  Much rather have Josh Jones.

The sad truth is we have so many needs, just about any combination of picks in the first round could be justified.

WR/OL?  Check.

DT/CB?  Yep.

DE?  This too.

At this point, about the only combination of positions that could cause angst among Jaguars fans would be QB/RB/LB (even though I personally would be fine with Tua under the right circumstances).

I have heard the same thing about Henderson (that he is rising up draft boards).

I was pleased to hear of their interest in Kindley and Damien Lewis.

If they manage to draft these two appropriately, I would be happy with those picks.

Heard they had zoom meetings with Ruggs , Murray , Henderson and Wilson too. Dunno if they are all reported yet or not

One thing often repeated this time of year, no one "climbs up" draft boards. They just fall down by doing something stupid. Any stories about so-and-so climbing up are either planted by teams who want to see them taken earlier so their guy falls, or by members of the media who are just now figuring out that they were rated that highly all along.

I think you could argue that this year the climbs are more real than normal. It's been reported that wiithout the typical smorgasbord of pro days to travel to and parade of official visits rolling through front offices are watching A LOT more tape this pre draft. Guys moving up is based on actual on field play instead of what someone did in their underwear or how smooth they talk in an interview.

If our guy isn’t there when we go on the clock, I truly believe Caldwell may be willing to make a deal with his buddy to slide back to 16.

At what cost? A 2nd rounder? 3rd rounder?

9 to 16 is a big drop. It better be for a 2nd and a 3rd, or a future 1st.

Using the trade value chart as a baseline, the 9th overall pick is worth 1350 points and the 16th overall pick is worth 1000 points. ATL’s 2nd would be more than enough to get it done with a value of 430 points.

We traded a two to jump from 16 to 10 for Gabbert. I'd guess the price would be about the same.

Boards would still be already set by now. Also remember there's less actual info out there so teams can send out whatever info they want with very little vetting

The average score for the Wonderlic test is 20 out of a possible 50, according to Wonderlic Inc. A person who scores a 10 or above is considered literate, while anything lower might suggest illiteracy.

Thankfully the wonderlic is meaningless and an archaic way of measuring *anything*

Might have to draw the plays in the dirt for Jeudy.
