45: R2 P13 S Andre Cisco - Syracuse
65: R3 P1 TE Brevin Jordan - Miami FL

I'd gladly take this draft. Good mix of offense and Defense. Though I doubt the draft works out this well for us.

It’ll be really interesting to see where the guys who opted out end up. Parsons, Rousseau, Farley, Adebo all have a wide range of possibilities

Fanspeak.
I don't know how I got some of these guys at the spots I selected them at. This draft is based off the assumption we are switching to a 3-4 base scheme.

33: R2 P1 OT Teven Jenkins - Oklahoma State
45: R2 P13 DL Jaylen Twyman - Pittsburgh

These mock draft simulators could use some work.

I'd take this draft.  I like what I've seen from Herbert. Though I have no idea how some of these players fall as far as they do.

1: R1 P1 QB Trevor Lawrence - Clemson
25: R1 P25 OT Christian Darrisaw - Virginia Tech
33: R2 P1 S Trevon Moehrig - TCU
45: R2 P13 LB Zaven Collins - Tulsa
65: R3 P1 C Landon Dickerson - Alabama
106: R4 P1 TE Kenny Yeboah - Ole Miss
130: R4 P25 RB Khalil Herbert - Virginia Tech
145: R5 P1 OT James Hudson - Cincinnati
170: R5 P26 EDGE Wyatt Hubert - Kansas State
249: R7 P21 LB Anthony Hines - Texas A&M

Ya'know I ran this fanspeak mock multiple times... Where we pick TE is going to be an issue. We can't get Pitts (lowest I've seen him fall is 12), the Penn St TE is a reach at 25 and 33 imo (or at least there is better talent still on the board). Most times he's gone by 45. Brevin Jordan is gone by our 4th round pick.

But this was the best one I ran. We get Darrisaw at 25, Moehrig at 33, Collins at 45 and imo a steal of Dickerson at 65 who can be "red shirted" his first year or if healthy perhaps push for starting role.

If Pitts were to fall to 12 that is the 9ers pick and I wonder if all the smoke of Minshew to the 9ers might flare up with a trade there. Minshew, swap ones, and 33 or something? (Maybe someone with the draft chart skills could figure this out)

Plainly, without a trade for Ertz scenario or possibly reaching in the draft, the TE situation may be more dire than I gave it credit for during the free agency period.

Welp...the 12 now belongs to Miami, as they traded down with the 49ers.  WOW.  Dolphins just traded up from 12 to Philly's pick at 6.

As for this mock, I'd be quite happy with the first four-five rounds.

The Friermuth conundrum is interesting.  The good news is that we'd still have extra picks to move up from 65 if needed, and a GM willing to trade.

Hate it. Where is the O-Line help at OT?

Wouldn't it be great if the draft did fall this way? It would be as close to perfect as I could wish for.

I think you have to come to terms with the fact that Cam and Jawaan are starting Week 1 and probably the whole season barring injury

I have accepted that Robinson will be the starting LT. With that said, Jawaan Taylor gave up the most pressures of any starting OT in the NFL last season. Robinson gave up the second most, but Taylor gave up the most.......... by a large margin. You cannot blame that all on the QB's. I'll reiterate, he gave up the most pressures, by a LARGE margin. That is not good. He is not good.

Then, you take into account that starting LT or not, Robinson is on a 1 year franchise tag. Taylor's contract ends after 2022 and if he doesn't improve drastically in 2021, he should be gone or benched. Our top swing Tackle Will Richardson is only signed through 2021 and he has been an unmitigated disaster as a swing Tackle. Ignoring the poor play of the Offensive Tackles, we have two guys with expiring contracts after this coming season and another with an expiring contract after 2022. This team needs to add at least 1 OT in the draft to have him ready for next season.

It's not a matter of accepting who will be the starter this season as much as preparing for next season and creating depth in 2021. I see absolutely no way, we totally ignore the position. It's just not smart or responsible.

My hopes of upgrading RT lies in the fact that Meyer did not mention RT when lamenting the state of the T class.  He limited his critique to the LTs in this class.

Baalke has also said they would be a BAP drafting team, and pick irrespective of need.  Combined, I could see the Jaguars taking a RT relatively early.

That said, if guys like Walker Little or Jackson Carman are available in the 3rd or 4th round, I could see them pulling the trigger on one of these LTs.
