Clowney had his best year under Vrabel as DC in Houston and Shane Bowen his LB coach who holds the same position with the Titans. He's a perfect fit for the 3-4 Diamond formation where they line up 5 guys on the front and bring at least 4 of them. Also can kick inside on passing downs, a front four of Simmons, Clowney, Landry and Beasley should be formidable, you can only double so many no matter how many you keep in to protect. He's also an elite run defender.

I heard on the radio that Clowney has never had double digit sacks in any year since drafted...... Looked it up and what do you know.
