I think the hate comes from his childish and deceptive behavior that ended with him getting traded. Everyone knew he was faking the back injury and that he wanted off the team.

That's fine, no one defends the way Ramsey pouted his way out of town. But then people who let their biases control their emotions try to project that to his play on the field by saying absurd things like he isn't elite and that two firsts for him was highway robbery. That's when it gets comical.

I'd argue it would be comical if he was still on a rookie salary, but given his current salary it is not.

The value return for Ramsey doesn't justify how much more you have to spend for him versus say the No 6 or No 10 CB. Even the teams that have won/got to SB with at top 3 CB, got them at discount for whatever reason.
