Michael Collins, Apollo 11 astronaut who orbited moon, dies at 90 | Space

Michael Collins was my favorite Apollo 11 crewmember because of his excellent book which he wrote himself. He was a glib thinker and writer. A fantastic read if you ever want some keen insight to the American astronaut program in the era of Gemini and Apollo. Buzz Aldrin is the only surviving Apollo 11 crewmember now.

This picture and caption give weight to what he accomplished and experienced.

For the people that predicted that the astronauts that were getting set to voyage to the moon were going to die, it looks like they were correct.
