One of the All time greats, and coaching, in the booth, and the best football game ever.  RIP to a Legend

That's really sad. No one represented football more than John Madden. I'm glad he was honored with the Christmas day documentary before he passed.

Sad news indeed. RIP John Madden and thank you for all you did to make the game more enjoyable.

Very rarely do I ever feel anything when someone non family related or close to me passes away.

Chris Cornell's death stung. John Madden's death also stings. One hell of a legacy. I can say with full honesty and confidence that had it not been for his insight and name in the gaming industry that I wouldn't have been nearly as involved or caring towards football.

I learned routes, formations, schemes, rosters, concepts and historical information about the game of football all because of Madden.

RIP

He and Pat Summerall were broadcasting royalty. Because of him I know what the heck a Turducken is.
