I was as high as 72 in season 1 and then was diamond season 2.. but I've recently stopped playing and gone back to League of Legends... idk, League of Legends just seems to have more depth and strategy to be honest... idk I might pick overwatch back up at some point but not sure

I love this game so much. Like I haven't loved a game this much since I was a kid on N64.

My wife got me this game finally for Christmas.  I love it too!  I suck at most shooters, but this one is alot of fun.  I play Mercy most often.  Which is good for me cuz I am a spaz when in comes to trying to shoot someone...  I wish I had more time to play it, I get in a few hours every other weekend or so

Gamertag is BaggnSaggnBarry if you want to hop in a fireteam. I'm on xbone but I play probably a couple hours a day.

I own this on PS4 but I haven't touched it. Is it pretty hard for people who aren't used to MOBA style games? I know Overwatch is a MOBA-FPS hybrid

I'm a pretty good FPS player on consoles and PC so shooting people won't be an issue but something is keeping me from playing it. Like I'm going to run into a brickwall of a learning curve

There was another game that came out around the time of overwatch, I don't remember the name of it but I would consider that game more moba-esque than overwatch.

Overwatch more or less is team fortress 3. If you're used to fps like you say then you're good to go (even better if you loved Team Fortress 2).

There are a couple of different objective types...capture the flag, attack/defend, a payload/escort mode and a king of the hill type of game mode. I mean you get some abilities and that would be the moba element, but they're so well worked into the design, its pretty accessible even for new people.

Yeah that was the name, it had creep farming, leveling up and all that type of moba stuff.

I enjoyed it but the player base dropped like 90% in 2 weeks so now I just stick to Smite.

Most people seemed to choose overwatch over battleborn. If youre good at FPS, youll be able to hop on overwatch and get pretty good pretty quickly.

Oh it looks fun but what it doesn't offer is a skill tree like Battleborn or item stacking like Smite that add to the difficulty.

Yeah its not nearly as complex or deep as either of those games, although blizzard does add new content really often with overwatch... new characters, maps, game modes, as well as weekly events from time to time. i usually spend all my time in 3v3 though, i dont like relying on too many random teammates to get the job done.

Blizzards good with continued support of their games after launch. Just look at Diablo 3, I've had that game since they released on Xbox and they keep changing it up.

I was about to list TF2 as one of my most played games. That'll probably sell me on it, appreciate it

Yeah you pretty much can figure out the objectives then, much like TF2 some characters are better on maps than others, some characters counter others so on and so on.

It'll place you with people around your level/mmr so it shouldnt be too rough starting out, I doubt there are too many smurfs.
