Dave Caldwell may be blowing smoke, of course. Miami's GM said he is "comfortable" with his five running backs after swinging and missing on Chris Johnson and C.J. Anderson. Needless to say nobody thinks Ezekiel Elliott will fall past #13 if he somehow drops that far. Don't be surprised if we do pick a pass rusher.

OTOH even after Aaron Colvin returns (he is only out four games) we still need another cornerback. There is no denying that. I like the idea of picking a corner/safety hybrid if Joey Bosa becomes a Cowboy.

This is exactly how I feel.  Thanks for clarifying that pick we got from The Steelers too. I forgot about that.

That happens to me every time we trade a player. Hopefully this is the end of that.

I have a feeling Dave is going to pick Buckner, if he's still there

Fell down from where? None of the top four teams need him.

You could argue the Cowboys don't need Elliot but plenty of people are mocking them to pick him. The Cowboys tend to draft BAP so need doesn't really matter.

The Cowboys did not talk much about Jalen Ramsey - in fact none of the articles I read about him mention strong interest from the Cowboys. It is more like NFL draft analysts simply throwing his name out because Dallas has the fourth pick.

Jon Machota @jonmachota

Ramsey felt like he could've done better during Cowboys workout at FSU. "But they really were impressed by me and said they liked me a lot."
