It won't hurt, but coaches will get more out of spring practices then the scrimmage itself. Word out of spring camp is that Trask hasn't been bad whatsoever, but Franks has just been really impressive.

i read that they have both been good. more wow plays from franks but franks has been inconsistent and mcelwain is worried about what his performance will be like when the lights are on and there are fans in the seats.

 

also read that trask seems to have a better command of the offense and that he has been more consistent. he doesnt have quite the upside of franks but right now seems to be more in control.

Francois was good last year, really good. With any kind of blocking he would have been even bettter. With any less courage, he would have been out of bout 3-4 games at least. His O-Line got him absolutely killed.

Not bad, he played better then a player who went to the NFL. 3,350, 20 TD, and 7 INT as a freshman is pretty good. Good enough to be in the top five of several Heisman lists.

Kind of like the early 2000's when FSU rolled out Chris Rix for 4 years only to follow that up with Drew Weatherford for the next 3 years.

 

I'd love to see both teams get back into the top 10 once again.  How fun would that be in the sports bars during Saturdays in the fall  !!!

Franks' performance against the two's and three's really had an impact on you. Sure, it's possible Franks could play better than Francois this year. I am confused as to why you seem so confident that he will. What has he shown you for you to think that.
