Giants sign Robinson

Giants signed Robinson for RB depth. I hope this works out for him, he is a nice guy.

His durability must have been obvious to scouts, thus his undrafted status. However, he has held together long enough to amass a decent sized pot of money. Hopefully he can stay healthy long enough to earn a little more from the Giants before calling it a day on his pro career.

They didn't seem to care about his top level vision being able to make up for the speed. He also played against bad competition in FCS. Scouts probably saw a good player but not someone that was head and shoulders above every other player on FCS teams. So teams just aren't going to draft someone like that. Until he was hurt, he seemed to outplay the measurables on the field. Now he has nagging injuries and if he is slowed further, the top level vision won't be able to make up for a bad knee or ankle. Fournette and Robinson are bouncing around the league. Cook is out of Minny. How the tides change..
Been trying to preach to y'all about RB value for years now.
There's a reason Ekeler and many others are up in arms about salary. It's because the most efficient way to address the position doesn't involve paying them big money (or drafting them early.) Anyway - I'm glad Robinson is getting a chance in camp somewhere. I hope he gets to play this year and earn some money. Very talented back with great vision. Just lackluster speed and now multiple injuries taking extended time to rehab.
