I usually keep my grievances to a minimum, not much in the real world bothers me..
But.. If you're a male, and you use these things called "Dude Wipes", then you're still a boy that needs to re-learn to wipe your [BLEEP].. Pathetic!! Same thing with these Ball and Vagina Deodorants.. If you stink down there, take a [BLEEP] shower and use soap!! Slobs!! We show less advertisements to registered users. Ponytails were enough, but then along came man buns. Now they wear it long with a little ponytail on top. I’m sure there’s a name for it but it looks ridiculous.

He's at work 12 hours a night so he does his running and other exercises during downtime. They don't have showers there so he uses those to....freshen up I guess. He's not fond of swamp [BLEEP]. Lol. They're also great when camping. If dudes are using them for any other reason I don't know what to say. A real dude hooks his pressure washer up to the bidet and solves the problem with horsepower. Also takes care of any stink agents in the vicinity, I'd imagine. I'm not a fan of change. Once I find something I tend to stick with it.
For example: back in high school I purchased a pair of K-Swiss ST329 and fell in love with them. So that's all I've purchased the last 20 years. All kinds of different colors, black with white trim, white with black trim, all white, all black so on and so forth. After years of searching for a decent work boot, I fell in love with the Dr. Martens SPT/80s. This is now year 2 of them no longer making steel toe boots. Typically every year I purchase a new pair but last year I couldn't, Dr. Martens were no longer an option. So I opted to wait until next year. Now here we are. Back to trying out work boots until I find the one that fills the void. /sigh (04-22-2024, 02:08 PM)Hurricane Wrote: I'm not a fan of change. Once I find something I tend to stick with it. I am generally not picky especially about clothing but boy howdy do I get particular about footwear. And I feel you on that perfect pair. I had a pair of dressy yet not formal shoes that were PERFECT. Wish I'd bought like 10 pair when I found em, because nothing compares.
Doctors who refuse to prescribe real pain medication for real situations. My mom has moderate deterioration in her sacroiliac spine (where the bottom of your spine meets the pelvis) and is being referred to a specialist. In the meantime they prescribe Prednisone for swelling and Tylenol for pain which she's been taking to no effect.
Just because doctors over prescribed pain meds back in the day doesn't mean they're not needed now but doctors are scared [BLEEP] to prescribe them for fear of you getting addicted. When I had to have part of my sigmoid colon removed in 2018 the surgeon sent me home with a few hydrocodone and a bottle of freaking gabapentin. They cut me from navel to pubic bone and performed major abdominal surgery that kept me in the hospital for four days and they sent me home with gabapentin. I ended up not being able to take it because it made me feel suicidal so I was told to take ibuprofen. I ended up back in the hospital for 3 days for lack of pain management though they didn't initially believe me and thought I had an infection. Without testing for anything they put me on Cipro (a mega strong antibiotic) that I ended up having a reaction to, THEN realized my issue was lack of pain management. And this was at a world renowned hospital. They basically only do pain management while you're in hospital so they can control what you get and they were freaking stingy with it. I could go on for days about my distrust for conventional medicine in general (treating symptoms and not the cause of an issue) but my pet peeve is definitely pain management related. My mom gets to suffer more than she already does (she has several health issues related to a few autoimmune disorders) because some jack hole is more concerned about his [BLEEP] than her pain. And no, marijuana, medicinal or otherwise, is not an option though I think it would be funny as hell watching mom smoke a fat one or chew some gummies and get high. Lol. Not a trivial annoyance but had to vent.
I had a kid at the counter at the bowling alley on Thursday night that couldn't figure out what 10 x 22 was without getting out her phone to calculate it. Sheesh.

Announcers, and others, who aren’t from Louisville but try to pronounce it like a native. Just say Lou-ee-ville.

Never heard of the company so I figured I would give them a try. So far so good. They have that extra weight that the Dr. Martens had. Comfortability doesn't seem too bad for a bulky work boot. So far I've liked them more than the Carolinas, Wolverines, Timberlands and Redwings I've tried in the past. Now to focus on the durability and see how long they last. |
