Let's reinstate Justin Blackmon too while we're at it. Or RJ Soward, if he's still alive.

Hopefully he’s grown up a little with his league imposed timeout. And hopefully the comp is minimal.

The compensation is very far from minimal. Hopefully it's a high bar to have to give the 2024 2nd rounder.

From nfl.com ......Ridley is eligible to petition for reinstatement on or after Feb. 15, 2023.

In a press release, the Falcons said they became aware of the investigation early last month and "cooperated fully."

"We are moving forward in the 2022 season with the decision that was made," the team said. "With the decision that was made by the NFL, any further questions on the investigation should be directed to the league office."

Ridley's future in Atlanta was already uncertain after he left the club for the bulk of the season to focus on his mental health. The team gave no indication when or if Ridley planned to return in 2022.

I do think it’s ridiculous he gets a whole year but a sexual predator piece of scum like Watson gets 11 games

Honestly, that’s not bad. That means he’s gotta play in 2024 and be at his best to get a long term deal. It’s a try and buy demo

This is the move. This is it right here, it changes my entire outlook on the near future of this team. They want to try and work the kinks out with Trevor now and then I think we're going to draft another WR to play alongside Kirk & Ridley.

Low risk move for a guy who's almost a lock to be reinstated in my honest opinion.
Championship Formula:

1) Draft Trevor Lawrence!
2) Play good physical Defense!
3) Keep 91% of the roster healthy!
4) ???
5) Blank #2
6) CHAMPIONSHIP!!!

Ridley is always older than I remember him being. Gonna be 28 next month.

Makes sense I guess. Falcons are leading the NFC South without him. And not an Arthur Smith guy.

It can be a 2024 second if he gets a long term contract. Can be every pick after that depending on a whole host of conditions, if he doesn’t pan out we give up a 6th
