From the whole list there are only a couple who can't be replaced or upgraded with little effort.  Sign Josh Allen, Agnew if possible, Ridley if we can not give up a second round pick and a reasonable contract.  The rest can go kick rocks.

The 3 I'd definitely keep are Josh Allen, Gregory Junior and D' Ernest Johnson. Allen has earned a huge deal while Junior and Johnson have shown enough to keep them around and compete for playing time next season.

McManus and Smoot would be good re-signings if the money is right. Ridley and Agnew would be difficult decisions for me, again depending on how much money they want. Of these two, I'd slightly prefer Agnew due to his elite play on kick/punt returns while Ridley's re-signing would mean the loss of a 2nd round pick. There are several very good receivers in this draft to replace Ridley on the roster. My current favorite would be Troy Franklin if he is available in round 2. He has the combination of good height and blazing speed- 2 things the Jags could use. If he is not available, Tez Walker, Malachi Corley or Ja'Lyynn Polk would be good additions with the compensatory pick at the end of round 3.

Ahh, he was waived and resigned.  I don't remember waiving him and resigning him.  Another stupid move by the GM.  He signed a 4 year deal when he was drafted.

Agnew - No.  He's not that good of a receiver and kickoff returns mean less now with the new rules.  I'd rather take my chances with a draft pick.
Smoot - Maybe if the price is right.  I wouldn't pay too much for him though.
Chaisson - Doubtful.  I think we attempt to upgrade.  
Ridley - Depends upon the price, but likely yes.
Herndon - If he is willing to accept what he got paid last year or a little more, yes.  If he wants big money, no.
Shatley - No.  Let's upgrade.  If nothing else, roll the dice in the draft with a Day 3 pick.
McManus - Depends upon how much he wants, but more than likely, yes.  
Ezra Cleveland - Probably not.  I admit that I haven't watched him much with the Vikings, so maybe I need to research him more, but he didn't impress me in his limited time with the Jags.  Right now, my inclination is to let him go and upgrade the position.
D'Ernest Johnson - Maybe if he's inexpensive.  He is good depth but not essential.

Hence - I assume you mean "Hance".  Yes.  I like his versatility of being able to play all o-line positions except center.
Shaq Quarterman - Probably not.  Maybe at the veteran minimum.
Van Lanen - I wouldn't tender him as an RFA.  For a veteran minimum, maybe, as competition, but I don't think he makes the team.
Daniel Thomas - Probably not, but maybe for the veteran minimum if we still have money available late in free agency.  
Tim Jones - He's an ERFA, aka inexpensive, so yes.
Claybrooke - No, he sucks as a cornerback and kickoff coverage isn't as important as it once was.  Also, he has had off the field issues.
Gregory Junior. - Yes, as an ERFA, he's a no brainer.

Then you can get into the potential cuts like Jenkins and Robinson. Save a good chunk of money by moving on from Jenkins who can probably be replaced by Antonion Johnson and then Robinson is interesting but you would have to think maybe Walker Little saves us money there but the injuries and performances are a question mark. Might have to consider a top tier RT in RD1 with Harrison flipping to LT in year or maybe taking a chance on a rookie LT in RD2. 

Not sure yet. We'll see soon enough I guess in about six to eight weeks.

Not for nothing, goff is five years more senior than trev.  The lions defensive backfield is abysmal.   Every team has holes.   Our eraser is still learning, theirs has been to a superb bowl.

If they wait until the new calendar year to extend him, which basically the first day of NFL free agency, we're only on the hook for a 3rd RD pick from my understanding. The only way they would have lost that 2nd RD pick is if they had signed him during the season or prior to the new calendar year.

We'll be good I think. The goal should be getting Josh Allen signed immediately while working something out with Ridley or potentially tagging him so you can get something done like they did with Engram last summer. They'll lose their 3rd RD pick in this case but they recouped a 3rd RD pick anyway when the Chiefs signed Taylor.

It's essentially a wash.

Every team has a weakness. That's nothing new under the sun. It's the team with the least amount of weaknesses or a very, very strong group though that enables them to thrive and keep their heads above the water. 

Our problem is that, we have no strengths on this football team at the moment. After a ton of investments were made in free agency and in these draft's. The biggest, common them though has been:

1. Competent to dominate offensive line play.
2. Competent to dominate defensive line play.
3. The threat of a running game offensively. 

We have none of the above last season. Just like we had none of the above in 2022.
