C’mon man, the dude is fully in developmental mode, no one knows his potential yet. That’s lazy.

His potential is sky high, that has nothing to do with what he said.

Oh I know.

I was talking about the way he moves : he is fast for a big guy, and he reacts quickly to the snap.
He has almost the same size than Barmore (6'6 306lbs vs 6'5 315lbs).
They both have good lateral agility. But I think that Smith is faster than Barmore, but less powerful.

That was the comparison NFLN used when we picked him. Hoping they aren't wrong!

he said he saw some Christian Barmore in him. YOU put the elite run stopper part into the convo.

Did Barmore have nothing else to his game when he was picked? Is that what you are trying to convey?

I think he has more upside as a pass rusher than Barmore.

The one player that could make or break this draft imo is Smith. We took Smith one pick before Jenkins who is coming off a national championship win and was a big part of the Michigan D and one of if not the best run defender in college along with having the bloodline of his dad a former All Pro player. Baalke should be linked to this pick like he is Walker over Hutch. Hopefully he was ends up the smartest guy in the room. Here is a good video of a Bucky and a LA. analyst on our picks of of LSU. The Smith and JJ talk starts at about 9:00. I really hope Smith can stay healthy and Neilsen can coach this man into becoming a future All Pro DT and I think our defense along with Trevor can help deliver a championship to Jax in the future. Hopefully Smith ends up being one of the steals of the draft like Chris Jones was.

He also says BTJ is the most physical and best blocking WR in the draft.
