We've been here before time and again. We hear all the positives coming out of OTA's and training camp ... how everyone is improving.

We buy our tickets and endure the hot Jacksonville sun hoping and praying for a miracle. For too many years it's been the same scenario over and over again. We moan and groan because the season is finished before game 8. We swear we're not going to waste another penny watching the games. Then come Sunday we're there once again hoping and praying for another miracle.


We'll do the same this year because we are Jags fans. I've started hoping and praying a little early this year. Go Jags and give us something to cheer about. Either way we will be there. All we ask is that the players show up with us.

It's the competing that matters most.

Players not showing up wasn't the issue last season. The overwhelming problem was that the players weren't talented enough to keep up.

I like Gus but maybe he isn't the coach for our team. It is about winning. Unless we're the first team in professional sports that just wants guys that "try". I mean you have keep realistic expectations but we expect to be at least mediocre now. No more top 4 draft picks.

Don't listen to the losers who say winning don't matter.  Winning is why they play the game.  If a team wants a huge fanbase and mass appeal it has to win on a consistent basis.

That looks like we are down 42-0 and we just got our second first down of the half.  Man this team was just terrible at times last year.  I hope those times are behind us.

I've never heard anyone associated with the Jags say that.  You've got it twisted.

I agree with you.  Look at the players around him.  They look like they want to break something in half.

Sounds like a few were listening to the whinefest on TimTim recently, it sounds.

 

It was a real bashfest on those who choose to be positive.  Put on the callers who would pile on, too.

 

Newsflash... you can be positive but realistic, disappointed, and still demanding of a better product all at the same time.

 

I guess some folks are just too weak to try, or too miserable and starved for company.

 

Looking directly at T-Wigg, the scrubs on the show when Hacker was out, and the little self pity party they threw.

 

Fan vs fan is bad business, but the miserable love to constantly try to cash in.
