10 weeks will be next Monday (17th). Hopefully he starts working limited and gets to play in the last two preseason games, maybe even a couple snaps in the second.
Caldwell expects rookie free safety James Sample (broken forearm June 4) to be on track to practice in two weeks. Sample is scheduled to be re-evaluated by doctors early this week.
