I think I'd rather have Reinard Wilson instead of Wadsworth. I only say that because he was the guy who kept Wadsworth on the bench until he left the program. Also, maybe a nod towards Kirk Carruthers. While he was never an INT machine, he was a key part of some very good FSU Defensive squads.

A bust in the NFL, but Jamal Reynolds would have to be in the conversation as well.

Good call. I had forgotten about him. Also, maybe Sammie Smith over Dunn at RB? Dunn was more productive but Smith was quite the RB there for a while.
I would put Corey Simon over Darnell Dockett.

Of the more recent guys, I would consider Lamarcus Joyner at safety. The leader of the championship defense. You could tell he was missed last year more than any other player on defense.

I was looking at the consensus All Americans in school history. From 2001-2009, they had one (Alex Barron). Since 2010, Jimbo has had 9. Pretty amazing.

Quote:this team kinda stinks

Where's yours?

I did mine on the fly too.
Quote:I'd be interested to see y'all put a list together mixing uf and FSU.
Or a uf/fsu/um list

Edit: didnt see it was already done.
Quote:Based on?

Terrell Buckley:

21 career INTs

501 INT return yards (NCAA record)

4 INTs returned for TDs

1991 Jim Thorpe Winner and 1st Team All American

Finished 7th in the Heisman voting in 1991

Also had three career punt returns for TDs

5th overall pick in 1992
Based on my eyes. I think Haden was a better overall cover corner. Int numbers differ so much I think because teams tried to avoid the collegiate games best cover corner in Deion and Buckley had more balls to defend. Teams completely steered clear of Haden. Haden only had to defend 42 passes in his three years, 14 per season. That is a crazy number.

QB - Danny Wuerffel

K - Steve Spurrier

rest is irrelevant cause that would own all

Buckley didn't play with Deion.

Just looked, hmm, I thought they were together a few years. They certainly had three phenomenal ones together within a short time in Deion, Buckley and Butler.

I think both Tebow and Wuerffel had a better college career then did Rex.
Florida is tricky because you have 3 totally different systems under Galen Hall (run), Spurrier (pass), and Meyer (spread)

Very true. And Tebow couldn't fit into Spurrier's, and vice versa on Wuerffel and Grossman.
lol Rex Grossman

What's so funny?

3800 yards as a sophomore. if Spurrier stayed with Fla for Grossman he could have the best ever. Depends on what you want to do. If you wanna throw it all over the place Grossman is your guy. You want to run Tebow is your guy.
Grossman should have won the Heisman over Eric Crouch.
