I saw it on Saturday with the wife and we laughed our heads off. We had a blast. I don't think that's what the producers were going for but still.
It was like a Mystery Science Theater 3000 type movie. Loved it.
Oh and ******SPOILER ALERT******** (like any of you care)....
The cheesiest line of all was when Rock was reunited with his family and surveying the awful landscape after the most horrific natural disaster ever. As they're gazing across the scenery, his wife asks, "What do we do now?"
His response? Wait for it........
"Now we rebuild."
It's probably the same line Caldwell uttered after the Jags hired him.

The guy does a lot of kid friendly movies you can't blame him for that.
The movies he has done that we more adult oriented weren't bad.

He was good in Rundown, GI Joe 2, Fast 5, 6, Walking tall ,Gridiron Gang, and I and my son enjoyed a few of his kid movies as well.

As far as acting goes, the Rock is a good wrestler. The guy keeps getting roles, but these aren't exactly life changing, award winning gigs he's landing. There's a place for mindless action flicks like the ones he does.

Lots of actors don't get award winning roles. A lot of good actors as well and I'm not saying he's a good actor but he's not bad.
Schwarzenegger isn't exactly Sir Laurence Olivier. Neither is someone like Bruce Willis. But, these guys, like the Rock, understand their fans and what the expectations are. I don't begrudge Johnson for taking the path he has. There's tons of money to be made there. Doesn't make his movies anything more than mindless entertainment that serves as a distraction for 90 minutes. Some are better than others, just as some of their movies were better than others for Arnold, Bruce, or Stallone. Heck, Stallone has an Academy Award for Rocky. Not for his acting though.

I love the whole world is ending movies. I know some people just hate them but its my kind of thing.
His best acting was done in Pain and Gain. By far. I was surprised how good he was in that movie.
