He's a political topic because the mainstream has to sensationalize and make mountains out of mole hills now out of everything. Because it's the trendy thing to do. All the cool kids over at CNN and FOX are doing it. It's bad enough I have to catch this crap now on ESPN. ESPN is losing subscribers by the thousands per day as it stands. And it's because of this crap. Nobody wants to see politics mixed in with their sports highlights.
I agree with you though. Being gay is not a mental disorder. Gay people have been around forever. It's a genetic preference in my eyes and not a decision you make. You either feel attracted to the same sex or you don't. Nothing more, nothing less. It doesn't bother me at all though.
Gay people are cool. I have gay friends that are honestly more conservative than some straight conservatives that I know of. And I have another gay friend that is so liberal sometimes I'd like to drop kick her because some of her views are completely illogical.
I don't lean left nor right though. I've always kind of laughed at this meme that was going around but it pretty much summed up my views on everyone.
