Orlandus turns 26 in July and he was thought to be on the trading block last summer by rumours however the DL Coach and HC both praised Branch efforts and felt he was a strong #2 LEO for Chris Clemons.

They drafted Fowler Jr. because they had more of a need at LEO than LE after signing Odrick in leiu of letting Big Red Bryant go, which Branch on occasion was set to backup at LE.  During last season he suffered a bad groin injury taking him out of almost half of the season.

Quote:Beadles's contract is such that he can be cut next year without much consequence. This year, however, it's best to play him like a rented mule since he's making premium money, but doesn't fit into the team's long-term plans. Therefore, I don't want to see Cann starting until he is night and day better than Beadles. Save the wear and tear on Cann.
Zane is still really good at RG, but if Linder approves on his rookie year he has a chance of being better at RG than the ProBowl year Beadles had prior to coming here as a Jaguar.  Either way he is great depth on a line that suffers injuries a lot, so I dont see them cutting him I was just saying out of the players that they might he was one that would actually get an offer...
