This thread serves as your last opportunity to declare who the jags will pick in the 1st round. (Regardless of trades)
Once you declare your player you can not go back and change it. Editing your post is not allowed and if you do edit your post your pick will not be counted. Obviously spelling and grammatical errors are fine for all intents and purposes of this thread. 8pm EST tonight is the final deadline to lock in your selection. The winners get draft guru bragging rights for 1 year.

2nd this
Dante Fowler Jr.
I do believe Leonard Williams is the best player in the draft but he isn't going #1 for a reason. Some spots on an NFL roster are more coveted than others. You can find good DT's a billion times easier than you can find a special edge pass rusher.
Aw, crap. I just saw the no editing rule. I just had to give an explanation, damn. Ha.

Get him.
Fowler no trade down. Trade down cooper.

Vic Beasley (involved in a trade down)
Not tryna derail, but I'm just curious why you would want to trade down. Only a handful of elite players in this draft and three gives us a really good shot at one. Unless you're gonna snag Gurley or take future 1sts it doesn't sound good to me.
I keep changing my mind, but I'm going for Fowler
Amari. He's the #1 we've been lacking for far too long now. Checks all the boxes. Excellent router, can beat press man and shred zones, versatile playmaker outside/in the slot/in the backfield, can take the top off with his speed and take a screen the distance with his elusiveness, great hands and can catch the 50/50 ball, SEC/Saban, has the stats/history, and aced all the interviews.
Adding a #1, a premiere receiving TE, finding a midround RB, bolstering the OL along with improvement from Joeckel, Bortles, and Olson/Marrone, our offense is going to surprise people.
Williams DT if Titans dont take him or trade with Browns or some other team to draft him at #2, Fowler or Cooper would make sense at #3 as well.
I say GM Dave Caldwell trades down to aquire the 3 first round picks and a 2nd round pick & drafts Andrus Peat LT to replace Luke whom is put in for depth this year if not traded for a fourth pick.
I say it ends up being Leonard Williams.

I want whatever you've been taking :teehee:
