I don't know man, I was kind of looking forward to a drunk redneck trying to build an ark on a budget of $15 and a 24 pack of Bud Light.

Disappointed that Noah's arc won't get built a second time around Sad

I really hope this project takes place, but coj track record worries me.
I found the scorecard interesting:

This is truly exciting. As someone who moved away for work and with few if any prospects in me field back home I can't wait to see what happens here. Selfish I know but I would love nothing more than to move back home and be able to continue my career and development of a city center this would lead to is exactly what I would need.

Sounded like a Hail Mary from First Baptist Church to me.
I want to hear more about this ark? I mean think about it guys where prone to flooding it could be a dual purpose idea here.

It sounded like another drunk redneck to me. The volleyball court was icing on the cake.
Those other two option sound just...terrible.

If you didn't see the interview with this guy, you missed a real treat. Watched an interview on Channel 4 a few weeks ago and all I could say was, "Wow".

Let's be politically correct and say the guy is a tad 'eccentric'.

Maybe Khan paid them to put these other proposals out there to make his more attractive.  Evil genius.

Yeah, I saw the interview done on FCN.  The guy was wearing a Hawaiian shirt as he stood in front of his trailer showing the hand drawn proposal on a piece of notebook paper.  He felt providing a place of prayer was better for the city than what Khan had proposed.  Oh, and there would be volleyball, so there's that.

Here's the video.

Yep. The whole piece was classic. Seemed almost like a Saturday Night Live Weekend Update skit.

All things considered, I think the ark dude won a moral victory.

Agree.  He met the minimum requirements, therefore his proposal was accepted.

Even the big boys with big pockets get tripped up at that stage from time to time.
He got his 15 mins a fame, mission acomplished. Now COJ and Khan can get to work.

And don't forget nurses. Close to two of them according to this visionary.
